NBR mattresses are made from a type of natural rubber that resembles latex. They are usually thicker than 8mm, so NBR mats can be used even for ground exercises. NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) has dominated the market since 2012 and is the preferred material for gym mats due to the high protection and comfort it offers compared to other materials. Its quality depends on 3 main factors:
